I had the absolute pleasure of going to Face + Body Studio in Marshfield this week. Face + Body Studio is an intimate, modern spa offering customized facial treatments, an extensive offering of massage therapy options including couples massages, lash lift and tints, dermaplaning, brow lamination, make-up application, waxing, spray tanning, eyebrow shaping as well as brow and eyelash tinting. The studio, which also features and promotes creative artwork from local artisans, is a place to relax, indulge and reenergize. They recently expanded the studio with with some dreamy additions making it almost impossible to leave!
I received a 90 minute Swedish and deep tissue massage that was hands down, the best massage I have ever had in my life. Before my massage I did a 30 minute session in the infrared sauna which was the perfect transition to get me warmed up and relaxed before my massage. The new sauna is huge, so clean and has Bluetooth capability if you wanted to listen to your own music or podcast while in there. The sauna includes a private changing room and both the Infrared Sauna and changing room are reserved for each guests private. The sauna is so big that you can book it with up to 5 guests!
After the sauna, I went directly into my massage. It could not have been a better combo. My massage therapist, Jenna, was out of this world. She listened to me about areas to focus on and was so thorough and talented. I still cannot get over how amazing the massage was and am already dying to go back to see her again! Everything about the spa is so well thought out. In the massage room, they have a towel warmer to hang your robe on so that when you are done with your massage, you are putting on a warm, cozy robe. When you exit the room, your massage therapist has a water and chocolate waiting for you! It truly does not get better.
You are able to add on time in the relaxation room after your service and I could not recommend this more. The relaxation room looks like something out of a movie and it instantly puts you in an amazing mood. I brought my book and just relaxed, took in the beauty of the room, enjoyed some tea and just took some time for myself. It felt like a gift.
I could not recommend face + body studio more. The studio is meticulously clean, the staff is so friendly and wonderful and the treatments are out of this world. Have a special occasion coming up or in need of a girls day? They offer a suite that you can rent for the day! You are able to bring in outside food and drink, book services at the spa or even take advantage of the fitness classes offered next door at Mad Wellness Studios.
