The South Shore Natural Science Center is offering up vacation programs for students of all ages in February. For Ages 3-6, explore the world of Wildlife Wonders, offered daily February 17th through the 21st. Through art, outdoor explorations and more, we’ll answer many of the curious questions that children ask about nature. Please dress appropriately to go outside. For Ages 7-11, join in the fun with Animalympics, Wednesday, February 19th through Friday, February 21st. where we’ll take an in-depth look at animal athletes and how each species has its own technique and style. Track, clock and measure to see which animal deserves the gold, in this Winter Olympics for the animal kingdom. Cost for either Wildlife Wonders or Animalympics is $33M/$38NM per day. Extended day is available from 12:30-2:00pm, for $15 per day.Students in grades 6-8 will enjoy the SeaPearch Robotics Building Program, a four day program meeting Tuesday, February 18th through Friday, February 21st, from 9:00 to 11:00am. Maritime archaeologists know that without their specialized tools, they would be nowhere. Test their theory by building your own submersible remotely-operated vehicle, then "splash" them in the pool at the Emilson YMCA. This program is limited to 10 students; the fee for the four-day series is $75M/$100NM.
