The University partners with International Studies Abroad (ISA) to offer international summer internships in several cities worldwide. ISA is responsible for securing placements and housing assignments. Students interested in applying for an internship through ISA should complete the UR participation form (link available in January).
Students from all majors are eligible to apply. The placements listed below are available, but custom placements may also be made, depending on availability. Discuss your specific internship needs with our Summer School program manager, Cheryl Genovese, at or 804-289-8134.
ISA internships are open to students in all years, including first-years and those who have just graduated. Continuing UR students may be eligible for funding from the UR Summer Fellowships or Weinstein Summer Grants programs.

- Submit ISA application online with $95 deposit

- Contact Cheryl Genovese in the Summer School Office to submit $300 deposit

- February 1: Internships starting in May

- UR Register Participation form & deposit: February 15
- ISA placement deposit: Upon acceptance
