It’s true that every sufferer is different, I do realise that and not every change in my husband is negative. From being a workaholic, he has become much more thoughtful and loving.....a bonus indeed
The worst thing (and any advice here would be most gratefully accepted) is that he doesn’t sleep well at all. After a very stressful few weeks and finally falling apart in the Doctor’s surgery, he prescribed some sleeping tablets which hubby can have every other night. It made such a difference for the first month but, already, they seem to have stopped working.
He’s only getting short naps (maybe an hour or so) at a time and spends the intervening time wandering around the house. Then, of course, he’s so tired the following afternoon that he simply can’t stay awake - it’s a vicious circle. I do believe as well, that the more tired he is, the worse his symptoms are.
I’m sorry to be so negative. I’m very lucky to have two wonderful daughters who live nearby and help as much as they can. They both have small children whom we love to bits so it’s not all bad by any means.
It’s been a revelation reading your posts and realising that we’re not alone. Thank you all so much xx
