Biography
Dr. Wei-Chung Chen received his undergraduate degree from Duke University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude along with Phi Beta Kappa. He went on to attend the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, earning his Medical Degree. After medical school, he received his training in internal medicine at the Houston Methodist Hospital.
Dr. Chen completed his subspecialty training in Gastroenterology at Mayo Clinic Florida, where he was an Assistant Professor of Medicine. He then completed advanced training in therapeutic ERCP and Endoscopic Ultrasonography at the Keck Medical Center of the University of Southern California.
